How to use this scorecard

  1. Enter vendor names in the three columns at the top of the table.
  2. Score each criterion from 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent) based on your demo, trial, and research.
  3. Scores are automatically weighted — criteria marked with a higher weight count for more in the final total.
  4. Use the Notes column to capture specific observations from demos or reference calls.
  5. The Grand Total row at the bottom shows your weighted score out of 100 for each vendor.
  6. Print or save as PDF for your records or to share with stakeholders.

How to interpret your totals

80–100: Strong fit — proceed to reference calls
60–79: Viable — negotiate on weak areas
